Guelph United signs Jamaican international goalkeeper Yazmeen Jamieson
Guelph United is happy to announce the signing of Jamaican international goalkeeper Yazmeen Jamieson for the remainder of the 2025 season.
Jamieson, 27, is a familiar name in League1 Ontario, after playing in 2022 and 2023 for Simcoe County Rovers, for which she appeared in 21 matches - and even scored a goal, from the penalty spot. In 2024, she signed a professional contract with Albanian club KFF Vllaznia, but returned to Toronto, where she played for George Brown College, becoming an OCAA East Division First Team All-Star.
Before her appearances in League1 Ontario, Yazmeen has also played for Carleton Ravens in U Sports, as well as Papakura City FC in New Zealand,
P18 IK in Sweden, and GPSO 92 Issy in France.
At the international level, our new goalkeeper has appeared in 6 matches for the Jamaica national team, and 5 matches for the Jamaica U-20.
