Guelph United signs forwards Milan Beader and Nikolas Blaskovic

Guelph United is getting some late reinforcements to the roster we announced last week. We’re happy to reveal we have signed Canadian forwards Milan Beader and Nikolas Blaskovic for the 2025 season. Both players are already training with the team, and are available for selection on Saturday, for the match against the Sudbury Cyclones.

Milan Beader, 29, hails from Hamilton, ON, and is a name already familiar to GUFC fans. He was part of our team in the 2023 season, playing in 17 matches and scoring 7 goals. After the year in Guelph, he spent 2024 playing for ProStars FC, and scoring 4 times in 17 appearances. Previously, he played for Alliance United, Scrosoppi FC, and Slovenian club NK Triglav.

Nikolas Blaskovic, 25, was born in Mississauga, ON. He arrives in Guelph after spending 2024 also playing for ProStars FC, for which he appeared in 14 matches, scoring 4 goals. In the previous 2 seasons, Nikolas played for Scrosoppi FC, and before League1 Ontario, he spent some time with Croatian club NK Istra.

I am delighted to welcome back Milan to add to our striker department. His experience, hold up play and finishing will be invaluable for our promotion push in 2025. Nikolas joins us for the first time and it’s great to welcome such an experienced League1 campaigner.
— Keith Mason, Guelph United GM & men's head coach
